I need a bit of update on the healthcare and I’ve read about the election of Scott Brown but I am not sure how it directly affects the healthcare reform (didn’t 2 separate bills pass through the house and senate already?) I am looking for serious answers, not political trolls. Thank you in advance.
6 months ago, Obama and the Democrats told us we had to pass Healthcare reform in a hurry, or disaster would result. Now that it’s difficult, HealthCare reform is on the back burner. Could it be that the “emergency” was that they wanted to pass an unpopular bill before we entered an election year?
Why couldn’t a Democrat president with a majority in the Congress get some REAL healthcare reform like they originally wanted passed into law? Why are the Democrats celebrating the passage of this weak, watered-down version of healthcare reform when it is clearly NOT what they wanted?
