Where can I go with this degree? Salary, etc.

One may consider a degree in health information (used to be referred to as ‘medical records’) management.
For general career info: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search ‘medical and health services managers’ or such.
For accredited programs in health information: http://www.ahima.org
Please steer clear of those online, for-profit schools such as penn foster, university of phoenix, ITT tech, sanford brown, everest, ashworth, capella, walden, kaplan and others as they are merely out to ‘make a profit’ (and course credits may not transfer): http://www.ripoffreport.com and can type into search.

Health informatics and information management would be a great background for a career in the Information Systems department in a hospital or other healthcare facility.
You could also work in a company that sells health information management systems such as MediTech, Citrix.
